Workouts I’ve Been Loving

With the New Year in full swing and Spring Break right around the corner, I’ve been seeking inspiration for staying healthy and fit in fun, creative ways.

By no means am I a fitness guru, but here are a few of the workouts I’ve been loving lately!

Boxing

Boxing has seriously become one of my favorite forms of exercise over the past month. Possibly because of the overwhelming amount of Victoria’s Secret models flooding my social media with pictures and videos of their perfect bodies ~ all due to boxing 😉

Jump Roping

Seriously, who didn’t love jump roping as a little kid? It’s a super effective, full body workout and it gets your heart rate up. You can jump rope anywhere, whether it be in the comfort of your own home, at the gym, or on the-go in a hotel room.

Here’s the jump rope I have and love!

Planks

Planks are supposed to target your abs and are way better for your neck and back than old-school crunches. I like to do plank variations to target all my abdominal muscles, and oftentimes I feel it in my glutes and shoulders, too!

You can literally do a plank anywhere. I usually switch it up and do regular planks, side planks, and variate lifting my legs to add some extra heat and really engage my core.

Yoga

My absolute favorite form of exercise is yoga. It’s a mind and body practice that integrates all aspects of your life together – absolutely amazing!

My life has changed because of my yoga practice. I’m able to go through routines at home, but love taking classes because of the energy and inspiration that flows from fellow yogi’s.

Here’s the mat I’ve loved for over a year now. This brand has a ton of options for colors, mats, and designs. You can definitely find the perfect one for you!

Find the workout that best suits you! The most important thing is to move your body.

No matter how busy I am, I always try to squeeze in at least 30 minutes of exercise a day.

It truly makes me a happier and all around better person.

Besos,
