Ireland: Castlemartyr Edition

Next stop on our Ireland “road trip:” Castlemartyr Resort & Spa!

Our close friends and family know the journey it took to finally arrive here – it’s quite the story to tell!

Battling rental car companies, feeling defeated in Dublin, and finally opting for our last resort – a long, glorious bus ride through the Irish countryside.

It was an emotional rollercoaster, to say the least. But what was soon to come was more than worth all the trouble getting there…

Arriving at Castlemartyr was truly a dream. The resort was located on the most beautiful property, with old castle ruins, greenery everywhere, and horses roaming freely.

We had the most gorgeous room with a beautiful view and huge, comfortable white bed (my fav)!

We soaked up every last minute we had in our room until check out time, and decided to stay on the castle grounds for the rest of our day.

We had an amazing breakfast, some tea and snacks for lunch, and explored the resort while (of course) taking tons of pictures.

I know this will resort will be visited again some day soon!

Castlemartyr – you were truly incredible.

Until next time…

Besos,

Madeline Alice Johnson
