Finding Home in Ireland

Bunratty, Ireland.

Have you ever heard of it? Chances are, you haven’t.

Thanks to my favorite travel website – AirBnB, I happened to stumble upon the cutest private room here, which falls right between Limerick and Shannon.

The town itself was charming and quaint with beautiful homes, a few restaurants and pubs, and an old Irish castle.

This was one of the best nights we had in Ireland… our dinner was delicious, AirBnB hosts were the best, and for a moment it felt like we had found home in Ireland.

Bunratty is somewhere I will absolutely go back to visit one day, simply to tell the story of the time I had there (although short lived), and to stop by and say hello to the warm, loving family we stayed with for the night.

It’s somewhere that feels close to my heart, and I can’t wait to go back one day.

Besos,

Madeline Johnson
