After an exhausting day hiking in the Cinque Terre, I spent the perfect Sunday exploring the beautiful rolling hills and wineries of the Tuscan countryside.

We started our morning in San Gimignano and had a private wine cellar tour, followed by Chianti wine tastings and food pairings.

How amazing is this scenery? I felt like I was walking through a real life painting.

All I could imagine was the perfect, fairytale weddings that could take place here.

Surprisingly, my expectations weren’t high coming from California with Napa Valley and the ever-so famous Temecula Valley Wine Country – ha ha!

Little did I know, Tuscany goes above and beyond in terms of scenery, wine, and food. Did I mention charming, heart-melting Italian accents?

After wine tasting and lunch, we headed into the village and indulged in some of the ‘world’s best gelato,’ while overlooking the rolling hills, blue skies, and Tuscan countryside.

We ended our perfect Sunday at a family owned, world famous winery with a 3 course meal and seven glass wine tasting – an experience everyone must have at least once in their lifetime!

I absolutely loved my Tuscany experience – can’t wait to go back soon one day!
